Also we hope that having the cohort gather regularly might help in building a stronger community through encouraging people to share about their day, hopes and experiences at SUTD. Since you’ll be having Supper with Seniors, do look forward to learn something new from them!

Natalie Lim

Heyoo im nat! I like to be adventurous and try new things so thats what i did in SUTD. I was in cheer but then I grew too old for it ;( so then I found new things to do like becoming the EPD student rep, OGL stuff and various SUTD marketing things. Now, I just started working at Shopee as a Product Manager, so hmu if you want to know more about that as well. I'd like to think I'm pretty friendly so dont worry and come chat with me!

Chester Koh

Hi! I'm a ISTD PhD student starting this Sept. I just graduated from ISTD last week! My specialisation is in Computer Networks & Cloud Computing. I have been very involved in fifth rows such as NihonGo (the Japanese Cultural Club) and 3DC (Digital Design and Development) and helping out in SUTD events such as Virtual Open House. I strongly believe that SUTD is a place where you learn best by doing crazy things, not mugging. If you are like me and have a tendency to do wild, come talk to me and I can share about my craziest experiences in SUTD!

Peter

Peter is a stong believer in trying new things, always challenging himself to learn new skills from those around him. Open to talking about anything design related from Adobe Premiere, Photoshop to Interior Design & Architecture. He was also a TA for Design for the 2020 Freshies so feel free to talk to him about what freshie life is like or if you're interested to know more about ASD!

James Raphael Tiovalen

James is a strong advocate for open-source and he is involved in various side projects. If there is something wrong with the system, he is usually there to try and fix it. He is open to talk about OpenSUTD, academics, food, technology, corny jokes, memes, or university and hostel life in general. He likes to explore random ideas, connect the dots between random concepts and tinker with random technologies, just because it's fun.

Yong Kang

yong kang is a wacky guy that is always down for some crazy ass talk. you can hit him up in the gym at anytime except for night but his usual timings are monday weds fridays at 7am. Yong kang is also passionate about coding, software engineering and machine learning and startups. he is currently an intern at rakuten viki and a cofounder of a digital mentoring app matchin

Melody

Melody is a strong advocate for trying everything that you can. Famously known as caramel_melmel. From technical to non-technical stuff, she can talk about anything related to UI/UX, javascript and some dev stuff and the hooks around school life, many more to come. She was also a TA for Design for the 2020 freshmores and will also be the TA for Data Driven World for the term 3 fresh-no mores. Feel free to fire away questions about life choices and also hit her up for brawl stars :D

Raasheeda Fathima

Raash is a very sporty person who loves picking up new sports during her free time.Part of SUTD's Floorball team, she can give you tips and tricks on how to juggle school life and fifth row commitment. She can give advice how to handle school in the new norm of the covid 19 pendemic Currently an ISTD junior, she is well known to be a front end developer and loves anything to do with UI/UX! Want to know more about SUTD life and more, come join in!

Joseph Low

Joseph has been into the coffee hobby for the past 4 years or so and has a little side hustle refurbishing and reselling coffee equipment as well as conducting home barista workshops. He started and is currently running the Changi Coffee Corner Interest Group in SUTD so hit him up for coffee anytime. Joseph aims to learn the skills to become a CPO/CTO that can help non-technical founders make their vision a reality. His previous exepriences are in UX design, consulting and as a scrum master. Currently he is exploring product management in a DeFI analytics startup. Talk to him about UI/UX, Product Management, DeFi and Blockchain.

Alexander James Fonseca

Alex has difficulty describing himself in third-person, so I'm just gonna use first-person. Holla! I'm Alex, a MNEED Dual Masters student. I've just returned from a 9 month IC Design course in Taiwan's Chang Gung University, and I'm now lurking the labs doing drone battery things. Before that, I was a scrub in the EPD Robotics Track with too many Fifth Rows for his own good. Stuff that tickles my pickles: - Presenting, public speaking, emceeing. And also a little writing. - DnD (did you know we have an SUTDnD group?) - Food. I love food and am filled with a chonky spirit. - Complaining about SUTD like the boomer I am. - History, politics, and geography. - Whiskey. Especially of the Islay variety.
